Community Education
Comunity Information and Awareness
The Elizabeth Fry Society’s goal is to inform the public about the agency’s programs and services, the client population and the issues affecting women in the criminal justice system. The agency participates in many service and criminal justice networks and advocates on behalf of the women within the criminal justice system.
The Community Education & Awareness program has been developed to provide strategic direction on delivering informative messages to the broad community and target populations about women and incarceration, to promote awareness of help options and encourage help seeking behaviour, and to reduce the stigma associated with incarceration.
Please contact The Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough for more information about our Community Education and Awareness services.
